DLG Personalservice GmbH is a core part of Klüh Airport Service, based at Düsseldorf Airport since 2004. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of Klüh Service Management GmbH in 2011. The company’s core competencies include an extensive portfolio of operational and consulting services in the area of aircraft handling and ground support. We specialise in supporting aircraft turnaround and, thanks to our experience in providing temporary staff, can also deploy at short notice to other airports.
Since its establishment in 1974, BEFU Beförderungsgesellschaft für Flugpersonal mbH has been based at Düsseldorf Airport and specialises in providing aircrew transport services. It became a wholly owned subsidiary and part of Klüh Airport Service in 2007. BEFU also provides other transport and shuttle services, including lost and found services for luggage.

HYGIENE MEASURES
Klüh Airport Service deploys extensive biosecurity measures to ensure that passengers feel safe and comfortable and to prevent the spread or introduction of organisms that could harm people, animals and plants. The measures include cleaning aircraft cabins and equipping aircraft with additional hygiene articles.
Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has made these measures critically significant. Klüh Airport Service thus helps to meet the requirements specified by the European and international aviation security agencies (EASA and IATA). We also use fogging technology for disinfection or to apply antimicrobial coatings (EPA-registered).
CABIN SEARCHES
During cleaning, Klüh Airport Service’s trained employees can also undertake a full check of accessible areas on aircraft to search for banned items. This activity is performed using a defined process in accordance with Section 9 LuftSiG and clearly allocated responsibilities.

Experienced employees seek out banned items by way of touch and visual controls. All employees receive up to eight hours of training to perform these search tasks. Our instructors have been specially trained by American clients and the training meets the requirements of the German Aviation Agency.
Klüh Airport Service performs cabin searches immediately before passengers are boarded. Once a secure status has been established, it is maintained until the crew takes over the aircraft.
